The dedicated anchor for hollow-core slabs
HC is a female anchor designed exclusively for hollow-core (Spancrete), hollow concrete and prestressed concrete ceilings. It carries a dedicated European Technical Approval — ETA 15-0912.
The bottom shell of a hollow-core slab is exceptionally thin, with a void and prestressing strands directly beneath it. An ordinary anchor may punch through it or damage the strands. HC is engineered for precisely this depth.
