What is a sleeve anchor and how does it work?
A sleeve anchor is a through-fixing expansion anchor with an expanding metal sleeve. You drill through the fixture, insert the anchor, and tighten — the sleeve expands along its entire length and locks the anchor against the wall of the hole.
The advantage: the expansion is distributed over a large area, so the sleeve anchor is also suitable for solid masonry (bricks, solid block) and not only concrete — unlike a wedge anchor.
