HaYam Park, Bat Yam – epoxy-bonded rebar dowels, formwork leg fixings and life-line anchor points
Three different anchoring jobs share one concrete frame at HaYam Park in Bat Yam: rebar dowels set in epoxy, formwork leg fixings, and anchor points for life lines. All three go into the same structure but are governed by completely different requirements — a bonded dowel is assessed on stress transfer into the concrete and on behaviour under sustained load; a formwork leg is a temporary fixing that has to install fast and come out again; and a work-at-height anchor point is personal safety equipment tested against a separate standard.
