The SZ is an anchor for exceptionally heavy shear and tension loads. Beyond the European approval and the US ESR, it carries a Swiss shock-load approval – a rare one, required in protected structures and defence installations.
Unique: the SZ also holds an IAE approval for use in fibre-reinforced concrete and a VdS approval for sprinklers. No other anchor in the catalogue carries this combination.

What is the difference between the SZ and the SLPT?
Both are dynamic anchors. The SZ carries the wider set of approvals – including shock loads, fibre-reinforced concrete and sprinklers. The SLPT carries ETA1 and a C1-C2 seismic approval, and comes in a wide range of heads.
What is a shock-load approval?
An approval for shock loads (blast, impact) is required in protected structures, safe rooms and defence installations. The Swiss approval (BZS) is among the most rigorous in the world.
What is fibre-reinforced concrete?
Concrete reinforced with steel or polypropylene fibres. The fibres change how the concrete fractures, so not every anchor is approved for use in it. The SZ has been explicitly tested and approved.
