At Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa the guardrails and fencing were fixed with the TFE direct-threading concrete screw, and the roof connections use the SLPT dynamic anchor. A guardrail is a safety element: it carries horizontal and sometimes sudden loading, and it frequently sits close to the edge of the member. A concrete screw cuts its own thread into the wall of the drilled hole and applies no expansion pressure to the concrete, which suits small edge distances and allows the fixing to be removed and inspected later.
