At Totzeret HaAretz in Tel Aviv the curtain walls are anchored with the MTP-G wedge anchor — the same cracked-concrete approved anchor in its hot-dip galvanized version. Choosing hot-dip galvanizing over ordinary electroplating is a durability decision: a curtain wall connection is not accessible for inspection or replacement once the facade is closed, so its corrosion protection has to match the service life of the building rather than the construction period.
