At HaMelacha 4 in Haifa the stone cladding was installed with stainless GX-L plugs. Specifying stainless in cladding is not a question of capacity but of service life: the plug sits in a ventilated, damp cavity that is inaccessible for inspection once the stone is up. In cladding, corrosion failure of the fixing gives no advance warning — so the fixing material is selected from the exposure environment, not from the load alone.
