The curtain walls at A Tower in Ra’anana are anchored with the MTP-X wedge anchor, approved for cracked concrete. In the tension zones of beams and slabs, assuming cracked concrete is the correct starting point rather than an unnecessary conservatism: a flexural crack opens to its widest at the face of the member and closes to zero at the neutral axis, so an anchor may sit exactly where the crack is active. An anchor classified for cracked concrete has been tested explicitly in that condition.
